I have a soft spot for both books and board games. It’s always really hard to find a perfect game that we can all play together that holds the attention of my girls for long enough so I was quite excited when University Games got in touch to ask me if I’d like to give Yeti In My Spaghetti a go.
So this brand new game includes just three bits; a bowl, noodles and the yeti. It has a super simple concept and the aim of the game is very straight forward too. You have to pull a noodle one by one and trying not to let the Yeti fall into the bowl. The game is suitable for ages four and up, for two or more players.
I roped P3 in to help me play the game for the first time. I figured it would be pretty easy for her to understand but of course, she was more interested in pulling all the noodles at once. So I then played against Hubby instead. The noodles are slightly wavy in shape which makes them trickier to remove and this is great fun. Much like playing Jenga.
The game quality is definitely quite basic if I’m honest but this does not alter the fun you get to experience. All my girls can play this game and it’s nice that they can actually play this without adult supervision. It has helped to boost their bonding times which is something they do struggle with. The Yeti In My Spaghetti Game costs around £12.99 and I think that’s a really good price.
