To my Princess 2,
This month you’ve become a big sister. No longer the baby of the family. The middle child. You’ve actually taken the whole thing pretty amazingly.
It’s been a strange week. One moment you were my tiny, cuddly and light toddler, then I had your baby sister and you became this grown up, heavy and robust little lady. Not just physically but mentally too. You’ve grown up so much! Suddenly become independent and communicating with us for everything.
You’ve taken to being a big sister much better than your big sister did with you. The only time we’ve had an issue has been at night where you are very dependent on me still, but even then you’ve been grown up about it and will stay in bed when I say to whilst I get you more milk. You’ve been so gentle with your baby sister and I’m so proud!
I just want you to remember that I may be quite distracted and busy at the moment but I’m trying my hardest to cuddle you at every opportunity. You’ll always be my baby and I really hope we don’t lose the bond we have.
I can’t wait to see how you blossom in the next few months and the lead up to your second birthday.
Love Mummy x
