Our Scrapbook Summer Holidays 2018 – Week 6

That was the last full week as a family of five. This is our last scrapbook summer post too. The past six weeks have gone incredibly fast and I can’t believe we are embarking on a new school year. Hubby and I actually spent most of this past week without the girls but they’ve been having the best last week of their holidays with their Grandparents in Essex. I’ve been sent some photos from their week which I’ll include some here here relevant.

Sunday 26th August 2018

It was a really rainy Sunday. We spent the day indoors trying on school uniforms and watching movies. Can you tell that P3 was really impressed?

Monday 27th August 2018

P3 went off for a sleepover with her Nannie. My mother in law usually takes them one at a time to give them some proper one to one time. So we took the opportunity to take P1 and P2 to Clip ‘n Climb as they’ve been begging to go for ages. We then spent the afternoon watching Harry Potter movies.

Tuesday 28th August 2018

It was very odd not having P3 around. P2 spent a lot of the day running up and down the garden getting the cats to chase her toy dangling by string. We also binge watched more Harry Potter movies.

Wednesday 29th August 2018

We met my Mum and Grandad at the shopping centre. Said our goodbyes and Hubby and I then indulged on food starting with these pancakes with banana, Nutella and honeycomb pieces. Followed by a meal at Bella Italia!

Thursday 30th August 2018

My Mum always sends lots of photos which I love. They took the girls to the Warner Bros Studio Tour of the making of Harry Potter. They loved it!

Friday 31st August 2018

I spent pretty much the entire Friday tidying upstairs. I actually didn’t get much done because I was properly deep cleaning. We finished off our night with a Toby Carvery and lots of episodes of Gotham (we are late to the party on that one)

Saturday 1st September 2018

I finally finished upstairs cleaning. We spent the entire day at home, I’m not even sure I saw the light of day to be honest. It was nice and felt good to get half of the house in order.

I’m so excited that it’s September though. I’ve loved the summer and the sunshine, but weirdly for me I’m looking forward to seeing the leaves change, not so much the cooler weather though. We also have a lot of family birthdays this month including mine. My wedding anniversary too. It’s going to be a good month.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my summer scrapbook. I’d love to know what you’ve been getting up to this summer so please leave a comment below.
