My Sunday Photo 2018 – Going To London To See Tully With Channel Mum

This week has been a very odd one hasn’t it?! We’ve had extreme rain followed by a glorious weekend. I spent Thursday doing something completely out of my comfort zone. I went to London by myself to meet the Channel Mum team for a private screening of Tully.

I was so nervous beforehand. Travelling by myself, meeting new people, meeting the people I admire, was all absolutely terrifying. But I did it and I made a lovely new friend, Heather, who was equally as anxious as me. I had a lovely time.

The film itself is really thought provoking. It is definitely raising awareness of maternal mental health and would make a brilliant film to go and see with your Mummy friends. If you are a mum, I’d highly recommend seeing it. I left feeling all the emotions and wanting to do more for my own self care.

Have a good Bank Holiday and thank you for linking up to #MySundayPhoto

  3. Sounds like a well worth while day and a confidence boost to do these things sometimes and know you can.

  4. I saw the trailer for this with the sound off and found it a bit confusing (not the right way to do things!), but it certainly made me want to watch it again with the sound on and I’m sure I’ll be seeing the whole film. #mysundayphoto
