As part of being a Fisher-Price Mum I have been given the opportunity of reviewing several products over the next 6 months.
Our first and starting in May is the Laugh & Learn Love to Play Sis. Now she’s something else! Sis reminds me of something that was said at the Fisher-Price lunch we attended a while ago, that laughter is infectious. She has the power to make P2 laugh which has me laughing too. Totally infectious.
Sis has so many different songs, all of which P1 now knows off by heart and me too if I have to be honest! All the buttons/responsive areas are so easy to push which makes her great for younger babies. I always get annoyed with the toys that are really awkward to get the noises to work, it makes me wonder how they designed them to be baby friendly when they say suitable from 6months… Sis is different. She’s so responsive to the littlest of touches which means P2 gets the absolute most out of this toy and she can play on her own.
Sis teaches body parts as well as colours and songs. But the very best thing about her is that this is the first ever toy to have the ability to make P2 laugh. A real, proper out loud laugh and it’s utterly adorable to watch. According to research conducted by Childwise in September 2013, 94% of 1515 mums believe that babies and toddlers learn best when they are having fun so Sis really is the perfect toy for P2. P2 also wiggles during each song, no matter what she’s doing she’ll stop and just wiggle and flap her arms about. It’s just too adorable to watch!
Fisher-Price definitely know what they’re doing when it comes to amusing children! They really listen to the comments of mums. All their toys have silly sounds, move in some way and are musical, all of these things were found to be some of the top things mums look for when buying their children toys. I know it’s something I look for.
