I hope you’ve seen my blogiversary competition! With 2014 finally behind us and 2015 now in full swing I’ve been thinking about the things I want to achieve this year. There’s plenty of room for improvement in nearly every corner of my life but I’ve managed to whittle it down to just 5 this year. 5 that are equally realistic and equally important.
Make more time for seeing friends
I realised yesterday that I hadn’t seen my best friend for 15 months, the whole of 2014, and that just isn’t acceptable. This year I want to meet up with the new friends I’ve made, attend coffee mornings at the school and invite old friends round or travel to them.
Keep up with P1s school work
Since the birth of P3 I’ve slacked. She’s given a few options each week where we can pick to do just one thing, or we do our own activity. The thing I slack on is recording it in their home learning journals. This year I want to make sure I’m up to date.
Make an effort with my appearance
Hubby always jokes that I don’t know what a shower is. Since having P3 I’ve showered less, choosing to spend the day in my pjs rather than getting dressed. This year I need to change that. I want to get showered, dressed and put my makeup on every day, whether I’m going out or not.
Do more activities with the girls
Towards the end of 2014 I attended more playgroups. This year I want to continue that with P2 and P3 but also start doing more things at home too. Like messy play, sensory play, board games, puzzles, arts and crafts and just generally spending more time with them.
Stick to the Juice Plus diet
It’s January 1st, so I’ve started the diet back up. With breastfeeding over and no worries about feeding P3, it’s time to get my body back into shape and healthier than it’s ever been!!
