When P1 was a baby cleaning and maintaining her hygiene was a piece of cake. I was 16 and having a routine was definitely not the top of my agenda so I didn’t bath her as regularly as maybe you should, once a week was the best I could manage.
P2 is a whole different story. This little girl has a serious fear of water. We’ve tried countless things to help ease the fear and they just don’t work. I’m hoping that when she’s older and can communicate things will get a little easier. As a baby P2 experienced cradle cap and it was awful. I continued to sponge her and wash her hair like normal. I tried oil and I tried gently combing her hair but nothing worked. Until we used Dentinox Cradle Cap treatments. Within about three washes her hair and head was healthy and flake free and has been ever since!
P2 tends to suffer with sticky eyes or even just “eye bogies” as we like to call them in this house. Dentinox have created a wonderful alternative to the horrible feeling of cotton wool. Eye Wipes… Saline eye wipes! Each wipe is individually wrapped and sterile which makes them very handy for taking out and about. The wipes themselves are very soft and gentle to tiny eyes. P2 is at a stage where she helps to wipe things so when I wipe her eyes in the mornings or after naps with the Dentinox Eye Wipes she actually enjoys it rather than squirming away from the overly wet cotton wool!
I just wish they were around when P1 was a baby too.
