Hello autumnal weather. Sporadic down pours of rain and darkened days at home. My girls are struggling with the adjustments to staying indoors a little more. They thrive to be outside because there’s so many opportunities that come with being in the great outdoors. I have been finding it so difficult to keep them entertained and was really thrilled to receive a weekend box straight through our letter box.
The Weekend Box is a subscription box full of everything you need for a weekend of fun. It’s designed to not only provide entertainment but it’s also a great chance to get to know your child and help them develop key life skills too. The Weekend Box is themed and each box contains all the materials and the instructions for the activities.
My girls were lucky enough to be sent the face painting box. Weekend Box teamed up with Snazaroo to provide a brilliantly colourful mini box of fun. P2 and P3 love face painting at the moment, especially when it involves their Auntie. Snazaroo face paints are made in the UK, are suitable for sensitive skin, fragrance and paraben free.
The girls spent such a long time painting each others faces. They were chatting the entire time which for these two, is brilliant as they are usually found fighting or arguing about something. They giggled and had so much fun together. P2 was deep in concentration and I could really see her arty skills coming out as she turned her little sister into a fierce tiger.
The Mini Weekend Box costs just £2.99. It features the cute little woodland friend characters and also a colouring sheet on the actual packaging. I am super impressed by the mini box and would love to explore the usual Weekend Box in the future.
