“We won’t be trick or treating for Halloween”

P1 has been enjoying a few days and nights with her Nanny, Grandad and Uncle B back in Essex. She’s been there since Tuesday evening and I feel completely lost!!!

I’m used to leaving her, or not seeing her but it’s been really odd this time. Since moving out and becoming a stay at home mum I’ve developed a routine, not one I overly stick to mind you, but you know what I mean. I get up, I do breakfast, I shower, get the girls dressed, walk to school, do housework whilst P2 plays, do lunch, blog, pick P1 up from school, make snack, play, make dinner, bed.

Without her it’s been quiet, boring and really weird. I’ve only had to casually get up with P2, eat when I feel like it and mooch about really. I’ve had all the time in the world to do my housework. It’s been relaxing yes, but I don’t like it at all!! I never ever thought I’d say something like that.

It looks like she’s been having a good time too…

After getting the girls matching Halloween outfits so I’m a little sad, but I’m planning to get some sweets to do a Halloween hunt in the house instead. And we’ve saved our pumpkins for when she gets back too… Well hubby couldn’t wait!
