“Walking brings her so many new opportunities with added independence and dangers!”

20140223-062554 pm.jpgSo we are very nearly saying goodbye to the half term and hello to school again. P1 is quite excited, probably because it’s been so boring, but it’s nice to see her excited about school as obviously that won’t last as she gets older!

Where P1, hubby and I have been having a chilled out half term, P2 has been far from chilled. This week has seen her go from a few unaided wobbly steps to her pretty much toddling everywhere and each day she gets quicker and quicker.20140223-063159 pm.jpgI’m still finding it very odd to see her toddling everywhere, like a little penguin, and getting from one side of the room to the other. She’s scarily grown up now and walking brings her so many new opportunities with added independence and dangers!

P1 didn’t walk until she was 17 months old so having our teeny 12 month old walking is so new. It’s funny too because she has no understanding of the world around her yet whereas her sister did at that age.

P2 has mastered smiling, rolling, sitting, crawling, walking… Next will be running then what?! I suppose it’ll be potty training and moving from a cot to a toddler bed. Oh heck!!!!!!!
