Tommee Tippee Kids On The Go Big Chill Cup Review

During the last visit we had from the Health Visitor, she suggested we stop P2 from having bottles. It’s not like she can’t use a cup, she can, but it’s the comfort she gets from having a bottle that needs to be taken. This same day we had a Tommee Tippee Kids On The Go Big Chill cup arrive.

The packaging clearly states suitable from 18months, however, the Tommee Tippee website does say from 12months. The Kids On The Go Big Chill cup features a flip up straw, this straw is leak proof when closed and unfortunately not when up. I’ve had to teach P2 how to open and close the cup because it does spill quite quickly when open.

The cup is insulated which keeps the drink cooler for longer, and let’s face it there’s nothing worse than a warm soft drink. It’s also BPA free and completely dishwasher proof (and steriliser and microwave) which is great for busy parents.

I love the beautiful, bold little characters around the cup. There’s a boy and a girl version. The cup holds 300ml of liquid which is more than the average bottle. It’s a perfect size for a day out.

You can buy the Tommee Tippee Kids On The Go Big Chill cup from Tesco for just £2.49!

(We were sent this product free of charge for the purpose of this review. However, all opinions are of my own)

I have been so impressed at the way P2 has dealt with going to big …

  1. Ooh, I think this would be good for Summer days out… I wonder if it will keep drinks warm in the winter too. We have the problem with the leaking open straws too; S is used to her other Tommee Tippee cup which is leak proof even when thrown across the room, so anything that’s not tends to confound her somewhat!

  2. I love the design on the cup – shame it’s not leak proof 🙁
