To my Princess 1,
This month has been a pretty busy one really. It’s the school holidays and although we haven’t done too much, the things you’ve been doing have been pretty exhausting.
Just the past week you travelled to London with Great-Grandad to visit Buckingham Palace and the Royal Mews. You had a wonderful time and I hope that in years to come you’ll remember that day. You’ve had two sleepovers with him too which you’ve really enjoyed. You have Great-Grandad completely wrapped around your little finger.
Today, we went to a new swimming pool that we’ve never visited before. It was jam packed with water slides and really catered for children. I actually saw some confidence in you that I didn’t know you had. We had no tears and although you wasn’t swimming as such you had a great time!
I was really dreading the school holidays as our personalities clash quite often, but they’ve actually been really nice and the majority of the time I’ve enjoyed spending each day with you. I can’t believe we only have two weeks left and I’m really going to miss you again and our lazy mornings.
I just want to take this opportunity to wish you so much luck in year 1. It’s going to be a really different year for you and hopefully quite exciting.
I love you.
Love Mummy xx
