My Sunday Photo 2018 – My Valentine

Valentines Day is like marmite; you either love it or you hate it. Which one are you? I have always felt it is a heavily commercialised day of celebration. I don’t believe you should need a specific day to show how much somebody means to you.

We don’t buy gifts for each other, in fact I have been known to print a card off the morning of Valentines. This year we didn’t exchange cards or gifts at all. However, we tend to go out to the cinema or for a meal. It’s a good excuse to for a babysitter after all.

This year the girls were already with my Mum. We’ve actually been child free for just over five days this half term which has been lovely. Hubby and I have been able to chill out, cuddle and go out freely. On Valentines Day we headed to the cinema to watch the new Fifty Shades film. We had a lovely time.

What did you do this Valentines Day?
