“Separation anxiety”

Our littlest lady is experiencing major withdrawal symptoms from her big sister today. It started this morning. My hubby got up with P2 and snuggled her into bed with us. It was 9am so a major lay in anyway.

She spent the whole of the 30 minutes staring at the door and calling, in the way we know is her sister name, for her big sister. When I took her downstairs she was looking round and around for her. Completely confused!

It didn’t get much better during the day either. Clearly mummy and daddy are not as amusing as a five year old sister!! We showed her pictures and videos which seemed to ease her separation anxiety. We’ve never seen her behave like this and I feel totally guilty for not having P1 here.

It took her several attempts of going to sleep tonight and she ended up awake until about half 10!! Ridiculously past her bedtime the poor sausage.

Only one more day and a half to get through with our clingy baby girl.
