I used to a pretty unorganised person with my blog. I would spend so long trying to figure out what I had outstanding or even what the postman had brought me that week. Things got a bit crazy last year and I felt completely stressed out by it all and very overwhelmed. I needed a system and so I bought a cheap diary from the supermarket and began organising my blog life.
I finally have a system tha works for me and now that I have got to grips with it, I thought it was about time that I upgraded it and didn’t feel so embarrassed when taking it out in public. We were recently asked to review the Unique Lifestyle Planner by Pirongs which came at the perfect time for me as blog life has got rather busy. There are two sizes of the Lifestyle Planner to pick from, A4 and A5, and they are the type of planner that you can design and amend to your fancy.
I went for the A5 so that I could pop it on my desk (aka kitchen worktop) and in my bag without risk of it taking up lots of space. Then there’s three layout options; Vertical, Horizontal 1 and Horizontal 2. After changing my mind and having to contact the customer service team, I went with the Horizontal 1 which seemed to offer more space for writing. You can also pick the start date too either April, August or January next year.
The whole online process of designing the planner was really simple. You could add photo boxes or text boxes through the diary to make it really unique. At the back there are options to add miscellaneous sheets like budgets, notes lists and family related things too. I was pleasantly surprised with the choices actually. In the end I decided not to amend the back sheets except the very back cover where I added a few photos of the girls and my blog logo.
When you go to the checkout there are different options to pick from. You can change the colour of the spiral binding, the ribbon bookmarks, you can add an elasticated band to hold the planner together and also have a plastic wallet in the back. Some have added costs to them but it wasn’t unreasonable.
I have been totally satisfied with my new planner. Each page is super bright and bold in colour. It has exactly what I need which was to be able to see all of a week on one side so that I could leave the planner half open. I love that the planner comes with really cute tab dividers for the months and some pretty stickers in the clear wallet too. I just think this planner screams sophistication and I am so proud to show it off to people and I really enjoy organising my blog life with it.
Do you use technology to keep a track of everything or do you like the old fashion diary method?
