“P1 had her hair cut on Thursday for the first time in her entire life”

“Wow that’s a long time to never have a hair cut!” I sit there feeling totally guilty and embarrassed. I’m pretty much the worst Mum in creation right?!

P1 had her hair cut on Thursday for the first time in her entire life. 5 years. Ooops. I’ll shamefully admit that I used to cut/trim her fringe but her hair was always so beautiful and curly, then it became beautiful and long that I just didn’t want anyone to hack away at her wonderful hair. Gradually I’ve noticed loads of different lengths, especially when she has it up for school so grabbed the Christmas school holidays to go and get it chopped.

P1 was worried, she kept saying she wanted it long and that she didn’t want it cut. But Thursday she seemed quite excited. We arrived and I explained to her what would happen.

It cost me £13.50. Not too bad I didn’t think! It was totally worth it and she looks amazing, I wish I’d had it cut sooner and I will be going more often now to keep it looking tidy.20140104-084000 am.jpg
