It’s been nearly 3 weeks since we significantly reduced the amount of milk P2 has during a 24 hour stretch and it’s been going really well. One thing that I have noticed is that she has been super hungry. Literally anything and everything goes which feels like we are being eaten out of house and home.
I’ve been looking out for better snack choices for all the girls but even more importantly now as I need to substitute the milk intake with a healthy food option. When Little Dish asked the girls to taste test their new snacks, Go Gos, I couldn’t say no and was super excited for them to arrive.
There’s three flavours in the Little Dish Go Gos range; Vanilla, Ginger and Raspberry. They are little mini oat biscuits made from whole grain oats, flax and chia seeds and protein. All of these ingredients are great for a slow release energy which keeps the littles going all day long which is perfect for P2 and P3. They are also wheat and dairy free with no artificial flavours, preservatives or colourings.
I absolutely adore the little packets they come in. They are bright and feature a cute little animal. On the back there is a sticker that can be used to seal the bag back up and finish later. Or the stickers could also be used to collect and put in a little notepad. I definitely think Little Dish should make a little collectable album or something?!
The snack themselves look cute too, little rings that P3 loved putting her fingers through. I of course got to try each flavour and I’m torn between the ginger and the raspberry flavour. The girls love all the flavours equally and these will definitely be finding their way into our shopping trolley more frequently.
Each box contains 5 packets and costs roughly £2. So at 40p a packet I don’t think it’s too costly. each 25g packet contains so many little Os and I love that they can be sealed again to save. What’s your favourite snack for your toddler?
