“Her behaviour is beyond anything we’ve ever had to deal with”

I’m struggling to remember the last time that I went a whole day or even half a day without having to tell P1 off for something or argue with her. Life seems to be a constant battle – parents against child.

Her behaviour is beyond anything we’ve ever had to deal with before. She’s become really rude and I’m really disappointed. We’ve tried all approaches to change the way she’s behaving but nothing gets through to her that this is just not acceptable behaviour.

I think it has something to do with the change of school. Not the school itself as such because she comes home smiling and happy something that didn’t really happen before, but just the change. It effects kids all in different ways and unfortunately it seems we’ve got the naughty effect.

We are slowly being able to control her outbursts or more the way we deal with them but it’s exhausting and very upsetting.
