Halloween Chocolate Cupcakes Recipes

I have gone a little Baking crazy recently and I think P2 has cottoned on to this too. She asks me frequently if we can bake, it’s usually at the most inconvenient time but she’s getting really good at baking. I spotted some cute little Halloween cupcake decorations in Poundland the other day and instantly knew that P2 would love them. So we created some simple Halloween inspired cupcakes together and here’s our recipe:

For the cake
  1. Preheat the oven to 150c (fan) and line a 12 hole muffin tray with your Halloween cupcake cases.
  2. Sieve the Flour, Cocoa Powder and Baking Powder together in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Beat in the Butter until it is combined well. Then add the Caster Sugar and mix thoroughly.

For the Icing
  1. Once the cakes are completely cool, even the slightest warmth will melt the icing, sieve the Cocoa Powder and Icing Sugar into a bowl.
