Frugi Smock Top & Pull Up Set Review

We were really lucky to be gifted some lovely outfits for BritMums Live three weeks ago. I’m still shocked that it has actually been three weeks and I’ve still not published this post. Naughty me! One of the brands was Frugi and we were able to choose whatever we wanted. I asked P2 to help me as she’s quite good at picking clothes.

I was very torn between a few of the beautiful dresses but with P3 a new crawler I wanted something she could easily crawl in yet keep her hot/cool as I was unsure whether it would be stuffy or freezing at The Brewery. P2 chose the Frugi Smock Top & Pull Up Set for her baby sister. I think she was drawn to the rather cute kitty on the front.

It arrived in the usual totally gorgeous wrapping from Frugi. You can really tell that the warehouse people take so much time and effort into packing each order by the way they arrive. It screams quality. The fabric, which is 100% Organic Cotton, is so soft it made me want to snuggle up with it myself.

The cat and ball of wool is appliquéd onto the top. After washing it still looks stunning. I love the two side poppers around the neck area which makes getting on and off less of a stress and drama for P3.

I love the trousers especially because they are thicker than a normal onesie for instance which means that her legs and knees are protected as she crawls. The trousers are elasticated around the waist band but are not too tight at all. This outfit was sized 6-12 months and the trousers were admittedly up near her armpits but they stayed put the whole time and I didn’t have to pull them up during our visit to BritMums.

P3 wore this outfit the whole of the first day at BritMums. It was super comfy, light and not too hot despite it being rather clammy in BritMums that first day. I was so pleased and grateful for this outfit as having the trousers meant that I could do a very quick nappy change without exposing her too much.

The Frugi Smock Top & Pull Up set costs £24 but is actually on sale at the moment (4th July 2015). They have sizes 0-3 months all the way to 2-3 years.
