I feel extremely lucky to have such a close relationship with Fisher-Price. My girls have benefited so much thanks to them, before and after the opportunities I’ve had with them. Our most recent addition has been testing out the 2-in-1 Sensory Stages Bouncer.
The Bouncer was really simple to put together. It features a two-sided toy bar, 3 activity toys that dangle down and it has two modes of play. The seat it is well padded, machine washable & dryer safe, it has a three point harness for a secure fit and features vibrations underneath. I also love how it has rubber feet to prevent any sliding which is fantastic with a toddler and child running around.
We put the bouncer up a little early which meant that P2 was able to try it out herself. The bouncer has a weight limit of 11.3kg which is surprisingly quite a heavy weight and means it can be used for a good duration.
I love how the toy bar can be switched around to offer different visual activities. From birth until around 3 months there’s a vibrant black, white and red toy bar offering great stimulation for a new baby. Then from 3 months onwards there’s a brightly coloured selection of animals to entertain baby. Each side of the toy bar has a lovely, calming light display with various sounds. The only downside to the toy bar is that it’s a full one, P2 tested a bouncer which had a half bar and that was so much easier to get baby in and out, although this full toy bar is very easy to remove.
The 2-in-1 Sensory Stages Bouncer has offered me some “cry free” shower times and when awake P3 really stares at the lights. I can’t wait to see how she begins to interact with the bouncer as she grows. You can buy the baby bouncer here for around £50 which I think is actually a really good price.
