We’ve recently tried a Dyson DC34. This came at just the right time as my cream carpets began to turn a dirty colour with everyone moving stuff in and out of our new home. I suddenly realised that I didn’t have a hoover of any sort to fix this situation.
My first impression of the cordless hand hoover was that it was really small, light and the instructions were clear. To be honest I was rather excited to get some housework done!
The hoover has two power settings; normal and max. The battery life is a little short for my usage of it but I don’t think hand hoovers were made to do the whole house so the power of it is pretty good. Roughly 15minutes on normal and only 6minutes on the max power. It has a charging time of 3hours.
I was a little sceptical about the Dyson. I wasn’t sure whether it would have enough oomph to clean my carpet. I was definitely pleasantly surprised! The little thing is fantastic and cleans the carpet just like any other real hoover would.
That isn’t where it stops though. This little Dyson also works on wooden/laminate/tiled flooring. The nozzle with a brush that can be click up the pipe to give you a range of uses. Both nozzle positions work just as good as the other.
I’m over the moon with it. I seriously am. The only thing I’d change about it is the battery life but that’s purely because I think it’s a really good hoover and would love to be able to clean my whole house with it all at once. But that’s not what it was designed for so I need to be a little less picky.
