In a few weeks or less I’ll be handing over my beautiful boobies to our newest member of the household, P3, for her feeding needs and her comforting needs. I’m actually feeling a little nervous about it despite the fact I enjoyed it so much with P2. I think I’m worried of not being able to with P3. For something, anything, to go seriously wrong and prevent us from breastfeeding.
I’m not going to beat around the bush about it, I was quite horrified when they arrived. I don’t normally go for anything that’s without padding or wire and my usual panties are of the thong variety. However, I shoved my initial opinions to the side and kept an open mind.
The bra and panties are both made from super soft, slightly stretchy and lightweight fabric. They both are seam free and the bra doesn’t even have a label to tickle your back with. The bra features a low V-neck style front and has easy to open/close nursing clip with full cup drop.
It actually felt like I wasn’t wearing a bra which at the moment is a real bonus and I remember being very agitated by my newly milked boobs on P2s first few days in the world so I can really see that the lightweight material will help to make any new mum feel comfortable. The same with the panties, it was like I was naked and the stretchy fabric, light fabric has been really comfortable sitting under my bump and I think these will become my new best friend after birth.
The nursing bra costs £26 and the panties are £15 for two. I think this is a really reasonable price for them and although I probably wouldn’t naturally pick out this type of underwear, I’m really glad I have them because they are so comfortable and I can really see me living in them! Even P2 enjoyed trying them on…
