Aden + Anais Starburst Cozy Plus Sleeping Bag Review

I don’t use blankets during nap or night time with P3. I’m scared to. I get a sickening feeling in my tummy when I see photos of other babies wrapped up in a blanket. I used blankets for P1 every day and I used them for P2 only less regularly. When P3 was born the only way she’d sleep was swaddled, a new experience for me. And now she spends her nights safely in a sleeping bag. Aden + Anais kindly sent us a Lovely Starburst Cozy Plus Sleeping Bag to add to our collection.

I heard of Aden + Anais for the first time when I received a beautiful muslin blanket in my Nonabox. I’ve been in love ever since so receiving this sleeping bag was fantastic news.

The Cozy Plus sleeping bag is a 2.5tog bag. The fabric is super soft, 100% cotton muslin shell. I’ve washed it twice since it arrived and I’m so shocked that it could possibly get any softer!

The bag zips from just under the armpit, all the way round to the bottom meaning you can access baby easily for nappy changes. I’ve found the zip quite stiff and noisy compared to others but it has eased up a little bit through wear.

There are 6 poppers in total. Two on both of the arm straps and one just under the armpit on each side. The poppers are quite small despite this they work very well.

As you can see, she sleeps so soundly in her sleeping bag. The 2.5tog is so beautiful!
